LINDA - High Score of Death!!!

 It is with a weird sense of pride that I present High Score of Death, my only contribution to the Doctor Who LOCKDOWN fanfiction section. A fanfiction where, throughout all of it, I get a character's name wrong, the MAIN CHARACTER of the episode he's from... but it's fine, he's from a different universe and it's totally authorial intent. While you can find the original version of the story on the website, I have chosen to put my own version on my blog solely because they moved where I put the title and it made the first paragraph read weirdly. Probably shouldn't have done something that goes against format, or put the title both above and below the first paragraph, but it's too late now. I also gave the title a funky arcade font, that wasn't in the original draft but it's there now. Update: Uhh yeah turns out the website is gone forever, good thing I archived it I guess.

What a Concept: Mario Opera Act 2+3 is Insanity

 Now of course, Act 1 was only Act 1,  shouldn't there be more? This is a continuation of "Why the Fuck do I like this Mario Rock Opera?" You can listen to act 2+3 here. So, Act 2, the opening song is actually just 3 songs. Unlike in Act 1 when some songs were more a medley of 5 different songs (e.g. "Chorus Back and Forth"), this one doesn't have them all under 1 title, rather listing the names of the segments of the songs, this gets quite convoluted later with 1 song but right now it's a bit more simple with the easy to remember title "Princess Lament, Bowser in Love, Mario is Dead!". In this track, we do get some insight into how the 2 most ignored important characters in the Opera (Princess Peach and Bowser) think, and also how they react to somehow learning Mario is dead. Only problem, I didn’t know what their base was, they didn’t really have a base event. 2nd one I met River Song, we got split up and I was arrested and sentenced to death, I escaped, immediately got captured by the Ice Warriors and honestly any result that could happen after that made me a bit fed up so now here’s the 3rd attempt.  I exited the Tardis into a vast underground cavern, buildings going up to the ceiling in place of a sky.
